Art has always been a part of my life, but embroidery took on a new significance after a life-changing experience. This past spring, after a routine check for neck pain led to a complex series of surgeries, I found myself in a cervical collar for eight weeks. During that time, embroidery became my solace and a way to stay connected to creativity when I couldn’t do much else.
I’m a proud member of the Embroiderers’ Guild of America and the Dallas Needlework and Textile Guild, I continually seek to refine my craft and connect with others who share my passion for embroidery.
At home, I’m blessed to share life’s adventures with my best friend and husband, our two wonderful children, and Winston Churchill—the amazing Golden Doodle who brings endless joy to our family.
